Onwards & Upwards As 2024 Starts With A Bang

We chat to you about all sorts of digital marketing talking points here on our Soapbox blog, but sometimes it’s nice to take a breather and bring you some of our own news. 

In 2024 so far, we’ve been privileged to receive not one but three accolades from Clutch, have been featured on a slew of their top-agency lists, and we also took home a trophy at the Prolific North Awards… and there’s still almost half of the year left to go! We’re so proud of our incredible team for all of the hard work that’s allowed us to be recognised again so soon after our last successes, and we couldn’t be more excited about the future.

So, what exactly have we won this time?!

TL;DR: We’re delighted to announce that we’ve received yet more prestigious recognition from Clutch and Prolific North Champions! We took home the Web/Product Development Agency of the Year award at the Prolific North Awards, and have been named in the Clutch Global Top 1000, as well as a Clutch Global Winner for Spring, a Top Full-Service Digital Company, a Top Digital Marketing Company, and a Top Google Ads Company. These awards have fuelled a surge in new business, allowing us to forge new partnerships with high-profile brands like Hollywood Bowl, and we couldn’t be happier!

Clutch Global Top 1000 & More Clutch

We’ve kept this one under our hats for the first half of the year, but we actually kicked off 2024 by being named in the Clutch Global Top 1000 List

This means Clutch recognises our agency as belonging in the elite 0.3% of companies on their platform!

When you take that into account, that alone would have been enough for us. However, the accolades just kept on coming as we progressed into the first half of 2024.

Just a few months into the year, we’d been named as:

  • Clutch Global Winner for Spring
  • A Top Full-Service Digital Company
  • A Top Digital Marketing Company
  • A Top Google Ads Company

We’ve won awards from Clutch before, but we always have to pinch ourselves when we remember that they only hand them out after a stringent evaluation process. They comb over the quantity, quality, and recency of verified reviews, the diversity and scope of the clientele in question, competitive specialisations, and also take into account strong brand awareness and industry recognition. We often say that we leave no stone unturned when we’re working for our partners, and it’s fair to say that Clutch seems to be something of a kindred spirit!

Prolific North Web/Product Development Agency of the Year

As if all that wasn’t enough, we were also lucky enough to finish off the first half of 2024 with yet another success!

Remember those Prolific North Awards we were shortlisted for? 

We came home as the winner of the Web/Product Development Agency of the Year award, having being recognised for our work on security, accessibility, and UX across projects with numerous partners. 

We’re so proud to receive this award. We really can’t overstate that point!

If you’re a regular on our blog, you’ll know that we’ve talked about things like accessibility and website security a fair bit. Our entire design team has worked to become fully-certified in accessibility, so this sort of stuff matters to us a lot. It’s therefore an absolute joy to see our efforts recognised by a body that’s as well-respected as Prolific North. And finally, we have also been included on Prolific North’s top 50 integrated agencies list. Phew!

We Continue To Grow

As we go into the second half of 2024, we feel very blessed to be able to say that our agency is in a great place. However, we don’t think that’s down to luck… it really is down to sticking to our values, and good ol’ fashioned hard work.

In anticipation of the cookieless future, we’ve spent months preparing both our team members and our partners for this significant shift in the digital landscape. We’ve also scrubbed up a brand new marketing funnel that aligns with the times. We’re looking to take a highly-innovative approach to data, tracking, and user perceptions, and we genuinely think it’s going to revolutionise what our partners can achieve. We’re committed to making sure that they stay competitive and well-positioned long after third-party cookies are a distant memory, and our forward-thinking has already paid dividends. 

And not just for our partners, but also for us!

We’ve enjoyed a significant increase in the number of service enquiries we’ve received in 2024, and this has led us to go into partnership (or sometimes expand our existing partnership!) with the following brand names, to name a few:

  • Oddies Textiles
  • Rise Technical
  • Sunset Hospitality Group
  • Woodyatt Warner

Of course, so many new partners means that we’ve had to expand our team too! Our decentralised way of working means that we can tap into top talent on a nationwide (or even global!) basis. As a result, we’ve added new experts to our SEO and Web Development departments. We’ve also established three new departments in the form of our Organic Social Media, Data Science, and Account Management teams. 

What’s more, we’re still recruiting! 

We’re actively looking to invest even more in our team members across sales and marketing to support our continued expansion. So when we started this blog off by saying that we couldn’t be more excited about the future, we really meant it!

I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far this year – Every single person has played their part and deserves their recognition. The influx of new business has been a nicer problem to solve and has strengthened our resolve to continue delivering exceptional client results.

I am thrilled to see the expansion of our departments during such turbulent business times. With the momentum we’ve built, I’m looking forward to achieving even greater milestones in H2 and welcoming some more of the UK’s top talent to Soap Media.
