Pontins required a fresh and fun new website which represented its brand. The key success measurements were: to improve the conversion rate of online bookings and drive increased traffic through search engine optimisation.
The website needed to integrate with their existing booking engine and be easily updatable via CMS, which proved an ideal opportunity to showcase our travel and leisure marketing services.
We suggested WordPress as this provides a solid, future-proof framework which would allow us to develop the functionality required. As Pontins’ offers are time sensitive, it was vital the staff had full control over every aspect of the site without the need for agency intervention. To achieve this we created dynamic page layouts that gave them flexibility and allowed images to be resized automatically.
The site was fully integrated with Pontins’ main database ensuring the prices are always accurate and updated automatically. Previously this was a manual task, taking up many hours of Pontins’ employees’ time.
