The Brief
WHAT THEY NEEDED
Eadon & Co specialise in pensions, retirement planning, saving, investments, mortgages, equity release and more, and seek to make financial advice accessible to all. They understood the difficulties involved in financial planning better than anyone, and had the expertise to provide all the expert advice and care that their customers needed.
They were well aware that pensions can come across as a complex subject and a daunting prospect… but they maintained that they didn’t need to be! After hearing their side of the story, we heartily agreed, so we were tasked with creating an easy-to-understand, inclusive, step-by step-guide.
The goal was to give Eadon & Co something that was relatable and easy to digest for all the ages, genders, and ethnicities who would ever need pension information.
Initial Investigations
HOW WE APPROACHED IT
Eadon & Co already had an identity, but we soon noticed that there was nothing that could be translated to a brochure to really enhance the brand. Therefore, we decided to design a 21-page document for them that included a number of new additions.
Our design for print work aimed to reinforce Eadon’s values and expertise, but also to allow the (sometimes complex) information in the guide to be easily consumed.
The Solution
WHAT WE DID
We began with a foreword from Tim Eadon, the Director of Eadon & Co, and a couple of pages detailing important information about their brand.
From there, the brochure moves on to outline the basics of pensions, the common pension types and solutions, and some explanations that dealt with the question of why we should all invest in our pensions.
To conclude, we made sure to spell out Eadon & Co’s own Pension Review process, and provide some helpful tips relating to pension scams and the like.
All of this is presented in a clean and engaging layout that puts user-friendliness at the centre of what it’s trying to achieve.
