We’re on the hunt for our next Soaperstar! Do you possess flawless organisational skills? And have a background in strategic account management in the digital marketing sector? If you’re a master at managing multiple projects and finding creative solutions to difficult problems, all whilst balancing budgets, meeting objectives and delivering to deadlines, then we have an incredible opportunity for you.

We’re on the hunt for an Account Manager to manage our key clients. Our ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can handle customer requirements and translate into actionable and deliverable tasks for our teams. An excellent communicator who can effectively communicate with clients at a variety of levels of seniority, and across a wide range of business sizes and sectors.

To be best equipped for this role, you’ll likely have 4+ years of experience in an account manager or exec role. You’ll also be adept with direct contact and communication with senior management and decision-makers and have sufficient knowledge in digital marketing to orchestrate teams of specialists and translate issues and progress clearly with clients.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead communications for key clients. Receiving any and all queries and requests, working with the team to construct responses in a timely, effective manner.
  • Champion our company processes and standards, ensuring they are always being followed and met.
  • Keeping clients within budget and meeting deadlines – raising risks with meeting either of these before it materialises.
  • Provide support with new business pitches and quotes where required.
  • Work closely with the department director and sales team to onboard new key clients depending on capacity.
  • Aim to achieve high retention rates from all clients, cross-selling services and delivering great retainer renewal pitches.
  • Keep a fluid dialogue with senior management around the health of client relationships, including reporting on outcomes, successes and risks.
  • Coordinate cross-department work within Soap Media to facilitate campaign success.
  • Creating ‘soaper’ briefs and strategies which pull together all departments and pieces of a campaign puzzle into one inspiring vision and objective.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies and campaigns across channels like SEO, PPC, social media, email, and content marketing
  • Having a keen eye for detail, being able to proof copy, creative and strategies to ensure they align with client brand and objectives. 
  • Be a brand guardian for our key clients, ensuring everything we do for them internally is aligned and on point.
  • Work with the directors to ensure the profitability of campaigns and the department, escalating issues and celebrating successes.
  • Coordinating and planning the team on campaigns.
  • Awareness of Soap Media partnerships and proactive in discussing these with clients and looking for opportunities to profit further from these.
  • Ensuring all project invoices are sent to the client when anticipated.
  • Develop campaign budgets and manage campaign expenses to deliver results within budget
  • Clearly communicate campaign developments, results, and insights to clients, creating reports where required.

Skills: Required

  • 4+ years experience in a digital marketing role, agency experience strongly preferred
  • A working knowledge of digital marketing channels and techniques including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email, and content marketing
  • Ability to interpret analytics data and derive insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients
  • Demonstrable ability and experience in managing key client accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proven experience creating and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
